Description
Hello,
we are trying to configure an Italian SIP carrier, VivaVox / Ehiweb, as an outbound trunk on Cloudonix using the option “Register with the SIP gateway”.
Configuration:
- Registrar: sip.vivavox.it
- Port: 5060
- Transport: UDP
- SIP username: 0909160212
- SIP password: valid and confirmed
- “Register with the SIP gateway”: enabled
- “Overwrite caller ID with login user name”: enabled
- No forced SIP domain / Request-URI overrides On Cloudonix, the trunk shows: Registration Status: Disabled (failed) We verified the exact same credentials and registrar on Asterisk 22.10.1, and the account registers successfully. We also successfully received inbound calls from VivaVox on Asterisk using the same account, so:
- credentials are correct
- registrar is correct
- the SIP account is active
- VivaVox allows registration from an external PBX with public IP Could you please inspect the REGISTER transaction generated by Cloudonix and let us know:
- the SIP response code returned by VivaVox
- the authentication realm
- the REGISTER Request-URI
- the From URI
- the Contact URI
- the Authorization username used
- the Expires value
- the Cloudonix border server / source IP used for the registration Also, is there any way to configure or override these REGISTER parameters through:
- the Cloudonix API
- Trunk Profile Settings
- any advanced trunk setting not exposed in Cockpit? If useful, we can provide the working Asterisk PJSIP registration configuration for comparison. Our goal is to use VivaVox directly with Cloudonix and then route the DID to Dograh. Thank you.
